As one of the founders of VPCA in May 2000, and a
long-time supporter, I am disappointed that the inactivity over the past
year or so has led some people to consider actually disbanding the
organization, after its great successes.
These successes have led to an elected Council that is
representative, consults with the community, and has some good ideas
about advancing the Town of Victoria Park.
Even better, the administrative arm of the "Council" has come into
the 21st century!
If you are a current or previous member of VPCA, please attend
the Special General Meeting, and download the document below that
discusses the reasons for and against, the processes of forming and
disbanding an incorporated association, and the possibilities for VPCA
in future years. |
